The Best You Can Find

Consider this. Peter and Mike are students who frequently use their PC for their school projects. Pete uses the Grammarly tool for optimizing his written content, whilst Mike relies on his default offline Word autocorrect tool. The result being, Peter scores much higher than Mike in his project. Why did this happen?

We have been using our default autocorrect tools for a long time now. The advent of AI-powered tools such as Grammarly has changed our outlook on autocorrect grammar tools.

Grammarly has brought about a revolution and has demonstrated its potential by surpassing the limits of a basic autocorrect tool. Yes! Grammarly is a highly powered AI tool that suggests the correct grammar of the words, considers the entire paragraph and suggests necessary modifications.

Grammarly Chrome Extension Review

Do you notice “Add to Chrome” written on the image above? Yes, it’s completely free to download Grammarly’s Chrome Extension. This makes writing content online much much easier. It also saves you from embarrassment over silly grammatical errors which take place while you type anything online.

The Grammarly Chrome extension works like a pro when it comes to typing content online, be it on any webpage. Grammarly was founded back in 2009. It immediately detects spelling errors and even suggests synonyms for the same words.

Additionally, it can rephrase any paragraph that it finds unnecessarily inappropriate with relevance to its size and meaning. Trust me, this might be the greatest AI software tool you have come across in the digital world.

How To Use The Grammarly Extension on Chrome?

Like all the other extensions, installing and using the Grammarly extension is easier than you think. Although some might need help with it, and that’s what I am here for. Let’s begin with the signup process!

Search Bar

Now, let’s talk about the various platforms on which you’ll be able to use or integrate Grammarly.

Mailing and Messaging Platforms

When we talk about mailing platforms, we all know Gmail is the first one to be talked about. Although, not only does Grammarly restrict itself to supporting itself to Gmail, it also supports its functionality on platforms such as Outlook, Facebook Messenger, Yahoo, etc.

So, basically, you needn’t worry about making those stupid silly grammatical errors in your mailing pitches to your clients, or be it for your podcast subscriber list. We all make typo errors now and then, although now that Grammarly is here, it’s going to handle that part of our troubles.

Projects and Documenting Platforms

Platforms such as Google Docs make our lives easier by allowing us to access our docs online and share them with our team, boss, or any other person. Now, we don’t want to look stupid in front of our team, peers, or boss right?

I still remember how years back, I solely relied on such platforms to get my clients’ work done. Although we had to spend some extra time going through the entire document correcting our typo errors, now that Grammarly is here, we can definitely utilize it for other purposes.

That being said, not only does Grammarly work on Google Docs, it also extends its functioning over other popular sites such as Stack, Jira, and Salesforce.

Social Media Platforms

In the past few years, social media sites have developed on an entirely whole new level. I am talking about setting up your businesses, online stores, hiring freelancers, pitching clients on DMs, getting your products promoted by popular influencers, and whatnot on today’s social media sites.

There was a time when Google Ads was the sole conqueror of the digital advertisement industry, although now, look at our social media sites, be it Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Quora, Linked In, etc. Nearly all of them have advertisement functionalities set up for businesses. I’d like to call it the “Solution” (in a lame way).

Social Media Platforms

This proves how beneficial social media sites have become in recent times. That does mean that we need to be careful when dealing with sending applications and pitches to our potential clients. We need to sound professional and that’s exactly what Grammarly will help cover up for us.

Grammarly will take care of whatever we write, be it necessary modifications to a paraphrase that has unnecessary use of words, or be it those silly mistakes. It’s gonna take care of it for us and suggest better options. Just like a caregiver does.

Thus, you may have guessed by now that Grammarly has itself active on your social media sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and guess what? Medium itself! Grammarly on Medium is like my favourite mayonnaise on bread. This makes medium a much better platform for everyone to blog on!

Is There A Free Version of Grammarly?

Yes, Grammarly has an amazing free version. However, it does have a premium version as well. If you’d ask me which one do I prefer? I would’ve definitely gone for the premium version. And why’s that? Let’s try to answer this question in general terms rather than answer it from my perspective. So, why do people opt for the premium a.k.a paid versions after trying out the free version?

That being said, Grammarly makes advanced modifications to your content in comparison to the free version. It rephrases a selected text with shorter and smarter words and removes unnecessary words from the text. This way, your content becomes more lucrative and it turns out to be a win-win situation for both you and your readers. It even suggests synonyms to words that might sound out-of-the-place in that particular text or sentence.

Let’s consider Grammarly. Grammarly has a Premium Plan which will just cost you $12 a month. This plan is usually considered to be befitting for individuals. Other than this, there is a third plan, which is perfect for a team of more than 3 people. It’ll cost you $12.50. What’s best is that you get a free trial for Grammarly’s Premium plan.

Grammarly Pricing Plans: Free and Premium

Grammarly basically comes with 3 plans. A free one, A Premium one for Individual emails and blogs and a Premium plan suitable for Business teams.

This plan comes with all the basic features included in the Free Plan. Along with it, it includes additional features such as plagiarism checking, advanced word suggestions, fluency, readability and a few other awesome features. One of its features has been shown below.

Ultimately, it’s up to you to choose the most appropriate plan which fulfils your demands. Grammarly does have a plan for students as well. However, when I did check it, I found out that it costs the same as their Premium Plan. Although, I guess they have certain features which suit the needs of a student. Final Thoughts…

Overall, Grammarly is an extraordinary tool to make use of, be it for your business or personal activities, such as school assignments or blogs. Grammarly is recognised as the World’s fastest-growing AI system. Oh, I forgot to mention this. Grammarly is accessible over several platforms, such as browser extensions, for Microsoft Word, for your Desktop, like a keyboard, as a Mobile keyboard app and for iPad as well.
