Everyone started becoming so obsessed with Crypto that most of them barely understood its importance.
All they cared about was that a single Bitcoin cost around $50k+.
When most of them actually started getting a hang of it, Bitcoin’s market price crash-landed. Stupid people blamed Elon Musk’s tweet.
Now, NFTs and Metaverse have started taking over the market along with other Cryptocurrencies playing along as their sidekicks.
Thousands of NFT sales worth millions of dollars in total value are traded each day. The most expensive NFT ever sold, Beeple’s “Everydays: the First 5000 Days”, went for $69.3 million.
Here’s a legit reason why I’m writing this blog on NFTs. I want you to make money out of it.
This blog is going to help you create and sell NFTs for Free without wasting your bucks on Adobe and your time on watching worthless NFT videos that use expensive software.

1. What does NFT mean?
Let’s begin with the basics. The word “NFT” stands for “Non-Fungible Token”. In other words, they are digital assets that are irreplaceable.
NFTs are digital assets that leverage Blockchain technology to store a creator’s virtual assets online.
Be it a music track, blog post, digital artwork, playing cards, or a collectable, even a tweet can be considered an NFT.
If you’re wondering that creating NFTs is just for artists, then you’re probably wrong. Anyone can create NFTs for free, and that’s exactly what I’m going to show you in this blog.
However, do not make the mistake of confusing NFTs with Crypto. Both aren’t the same thing.
In fact, NFT and Crypto are parts of Web 3.0. But, you can consider NFTs and Crypto interlinked in a few ways.
The next subtopic shows you a step-by-step process of creating your first free crypto wallet using MetaMask.
But before I proceed, here’s a list of what you’ll need to start creating, minting and selling your NFT :

2. How to Create a Free NFT Crypto Wallet?
I am going to show you how to create an NFT crypto wallet using the free MetaMask Chrome extension.
Step 1 : Go to metamask.io to download its free Chrome extension.
Step 2 : Once downloaded, just pin the extension on your Chrome toolbar as shown below. [Makes it easily accessible]
Step 3 : Next, Metamask will ask you to fill in some personal details and provide you with a Special SRK Code.
Warning : Do not share your Metamask’s SRK Code with anyone at any cost. If anyone other than you gets access to your SRK code, that person can easily change your password, access your wallet and easily withdraw all your Etherium.
Congrats on creating your first crypto wallet. The currency of your Metamask account will be shown in “Etherium”.
You can withdraw your money to your bank account anytime you want.
Now, let me show you how to create a Free OpenSea account.
How to Create a Free Account on OpenSea Marketplace
You must have heard about OpenSea. If not, let me tell you that as of 2022, OpenSea is the largest NFT marketplace worldwide.
You can buy and sell collectables, NFTs, trading cards, domain names, photographs, and other cool items on OpenSea with Etherium.
Step 1 : To create an account, Visit OpenSea and click on “Create” in the upper right corner.
Step 2 : Next, you’ll be taken to a page where you’ll be asked to connect an Ethereum wallet with your OpenSea account.
Step 3 : You’ll easily find Metamask as one of the top options. Click on it and you’ll be prompted to download the Chrome Extension from Metamask’s website.
Step 4 : Once you’ve downloaded the Extension, it’ll ask for approval to connect your Metamask wallet with the OpenSea account.
Step 5: Done! You’ll be taken to a page on OpenSea where you can upload and mint your NFT.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully set up your OpenSea account.
Now, let me show you how to create an NFT for free.
3. How to Create an NFT for Free
As I mentioned above, you do not need to be a professional graphic designer to create an NFT artwork.
Now, NFTs are of several kinds— Animated, 3D, 2D, Pixelated, and several others.
I’m no expert in creating NFT, but here’s a video that has helped me create mine. [I recommend that you follow this channel for creating NFTs of all and any types.]
Here’s a list of 5 platforms that you can use to create, design or generate amazing NFTs:
- Fotor : This software uses Artificial Intelligence to help people with non-artistic abilities create NFTs. A no-code platform, Fotor lets you create NFTs effortlessly by letting you upload your photograph and choose your art style.
- NightCafé : This platform lets you bulk-create several NFTs at once. It uses Artificial Intelligence-based technology to create NFT artworks.
- NinjaFT : This is an NFT creator application, available both for android and iOS devices. This app lets you directly trade over the Binance Blockchain. You can mint, buy and design NFTs with this app.
- NFT Art Generator : An online NFT creator, this software lets you create NFTs in gif, png and mp4 formats. Its simple, intuitive software doesn't make the learning curve an ordeal.
- SketchAr : This application converts your digital art into NFT. It selects the best artists every week and converts their art into NFT for free.
Each platform has its own learning curve and interface. If you’re really passionate about your NFT journey, getting acquainted with each of these is no big deal.
Now that I’ve covered the topic of creating NFTs, let me talk about how can you actually sell your NFTs on marketplaces such as OpenSea.
4. How to Sell NFTs?
Selling NFTs is easier than it seems. Since OpenSea is one of the most popular NFT marketplaces, I’ll demonstrate the entire process of selling NFTs on OpenSea itself.
Sign in with OpenSea and click on “Create” as I showed above while connecting Metamask with OpenSea.
Next, you’ll be taken to a page where you can upload your NFT artwork, submit certain necessary details, and mint your NFT.
As is visible in the snip above, you’ll be needed to upload your NFT artwork and give it a name.
The external link will be your NFT’s URL on OpenSea. Your NFT description should carry information about why should people purchase your NFT.
Next, you’ll come across the “Collection” section where you may include or add your NFT under a certain collection name or type.
Next, you’ll have to select a Blockchain for your NFT. I’d advise that you go for “Polygon” as it’s a gas-free alternative to Etherium.
In simple words, gas fees refer to the price that a creator pays when conducting an NFT transaction. In this case, it’s a fee NFT creators need to pay for minting their NFTs into the Blockchain.
Gas fees might be hefty and often discouraging for creators. But, with Polygon as an alternative, you wouldn’t need to worry about paying a single penny for minting your NFT.
That’s it. Click on “Create” and your NFT is ready to hit the marketplace.
Apparently, OpenSea isn’t the only NFT marketplace today.
Let’s talk about which other marketplaces exist and which one’s the best for you.
5. Which is the best NFT Marketplace in 2022
NFT marketplaces refer to an online platform where you can mint, buy and sell NFTs.
Here’s a list of a few popular NFT marketplaces that I know of :
- Crypto
- Rarible
- OpenSea
- Binance
- WazirX
The most popular and “best” NFT marketplace as of 2022 is OpenSea, due to the vast quantity of crypto collectables and NFT collections. It even outranks other marketplaces in terms of its sales value.
Note : A lot of marketplaces don’t let creators “delete” their minted NFTs. Instead, they let them “deactivate” it.
How to Benefit from NFTs Today?
The NFT marketplace is valued at $35 billion as of 2022. It’s predicted that by 2025, the net worth of the entire NFT industry will rise to over $80 billion.
